Forrest Gump

"Run! Run! Run! Run, Forrest! Run!", said a blonde little girl. On the road another kid, a boy he ran and ran other kids chasing after him. He felt so free, and alive for the first time.

Forrest Gump the boy who ran like hell, and this is his movie. He's one of the most wonderful, and strangest man you could've ever known. This movie is one of my favorite movies, and Forr
est Gump is my favorite character of them all. He had an unexpected, and complicated life that I could never had. Gump went everywhere in life he went to Vietnam, China, all over america, and also "The White House."

I loved this movie, Gump taught me everything like, "Mama always said life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get." Well it is and Gump never knew what he's gonna get, because life is a box of chocolates you decide what you want to get. He did all kinds of crazy things he ran across America, meets the president many times and other famous people like John Lennon and the Black Panthers, invests in apple computer, and even made a speech at the Washington Monument about the Vietnam War. Gump also tried finding his true love with Jenny his best friend. She was very different from Gump, she messes up her life. Every time Gump finds her, she always gets a way to run away from him. When Gump tries to marry her she refuses because she think she's not good enough and leaves him again. But no matter what Gump believed Jenny needed a better man to take care of her. Forest Gump a billionaire, famous ping pong player, a celebrity, a hero...etc. Even though he has a low IQ he succeeded in his life. He made his life worth living.

  1. Selina, I really love this post. I can see that you really wanted to spend time making it good, and it is!

I agree with you that this movie is just wonderful. I think Forrest Gump touched a lot of lives, even if he didn't know it. He lived and loved an extraordinary life, always driven to protect those who he loved – Jenny, his mama, Babba and Lieutenant Dan. You're right in saying that even though he didn't have a high IQ, he achieved much more than anyone would have ever done or dreamt of.

This movie never ceases to make me cry because it is so sad, touching and funny all at the same time. I adore it to bits. All in all, I'm just so glad that you loved it too!
