Pride & Prejudice

From what I think of "Pride & Prejudice" so far is funny, and written in an old fashion way. I love all the characters in the story so much. In Pride & Prejudice Elizabeth is one of my favorite characters, she never cared of what others think. Elizabeth is smart, and has her opinion, but she is prejudiced. I never believed in first impressions, but Eliza did she hated Darcy the first time she met him. Sometimes you really need to know that person well enough to really judge him/her. Because afterwards when Eliza goes to Pemberley and meets Darcy by accident she realizes that Darcy isn't that proud at all. The writing style is very old fashion, but funny in a way too. I think Jane Austen is a great author even if this book was during 1813 and now is 2013 it's still quite interesting to read. There were some difficulties for me while reading, but I managed through.

P.S. 2013-1813
= 200 YEARS!!

  1. Selina, I'm so so happy that you are loving this book and super proud that you are reading it even if it is old-fashioned and a little difficult. I like that you are able to relate the title of the book to the characters. What I really love about this book is how Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy really grow and change even though some of the characters don't – Lydia, Mrs. Bennet and Mr. Collins (but these characters are all hilarious). I also really love Mr. Bennet because he is so funny but Mrs. Bennet never understands him.

Lizzie and Mr. Darcy is one of my favourite couples ever, and I think Mr. Darcy is so dashing and perfect (not in the beginning, but later on)! Haha, don't you think so? *wink wink*
