The Landlady

Unexpected, well "The Landlady" is funny and quite creepy. But it's very unexpected, and the ending is an unexpected twist. I could never possibly imagine such an ending mostly I couldn't believe Roald Dahl writes this. He wrote The Landlady by starting off normally and slowly it starts hinting clues to make it seems creepy. Then at the end you were confused, but afterwards you slowly realize what has happened. In the end of the story the landlady poisons Billy's tea and intends to kill him for taxidermy like she did to the previous guests she had. I know....it's totally perverted by using people for taxidermy. The story is great but Roald Dahl is just weird, I loved the way of his writing and imagination (even if it's perverted).

Pride & Prejudice

From what I think of "Pride & Prejudice" so far is funny, and written in an old fashion way. I love all the characters in the story so much. In Pride & Prejudice Elizabeth is one of my favorite characters, she never cared of what others think. Elizabeth is smart, and has her opinion, but she is prejudiced. I never believed in first impressions, but Eliza did she hated Darcy the first time she met him. Sometimes you really need to know that person well enough to really judge him/her. Because afterwards when Eliza goes to Pemberley and meets Darcy by accident she realizes that Darcy isn't that proud at all. The writing style is very old fashion, but funny in a way too. I think Jane Austen is a great author even if this book was during 1813 and now is 2013 it's still quite interesting to read. There were some difficulties for me while reading, but I managed through.

Sherlock Holmes: The Red Headed League

“The Red Headed League” is a real mysterious, and creepy story. This short story builds up suspense, and solves a mystery. I really loved this story, because you could really feel the frustration of Dr. Watson, because he couldn’t solve the mystery like Sherlock does. Sherlock is a person that sees people, and things in very detailed ways, and he doesn’t have friends which is incredible. If Sherlock is a real character, then I would definitely want to be friends with him. He doesn’t have any friends, because people thinks he’s weird by looking at us and knowing our whole life. But I believe that’s a real cool thing he can do. In this story Sherlock already knows about the whole mystery happening on, and I thought it was all because of the red head job that’s being weird in the story. But when everything gets solves out at the end, you just couldn’t believe because it was exactly the opposite of what you thought it was. Sherlock Holmes: The Red Headed League is an interesting, and mysterious story that’s worth reading.
